Student Support & Wellbeing
Throughout your time at the University of Lincoln, our support staff will be available if you need any specialist or confidential help or advice. The Student Services Team provides integrated support to students through two teams of professional staff, who are here to help you make the most of your studies. These include:
The Student Support Centre – offering general advice and support on a range of areas including visas and immigration.
The Student Wellbeing Centre – offering emotional and personal support to help you through your studies.

Welcome to the Careers & Employability Service at the University of Lincoln!
We are dedicated to ensuring that you make the most of your time at Lincoln. We can help you to gain the skills that you need to get a good graduate position, through the range of programmes that we have available specifically for you as an international student. We have specialist resources available that have been targeted specifically for your needs. We hope you will make the most of this service while you are studying with us.

The international Office will help support you throughout your application and arrival. Our International Officers frequently travel to cities all over the world to meet with students, agents and to attend University fairs.
The International Office is the first point of contact for students from outside the UK and also provides support and advice to the University’s other departments on matters regarding international students.

English Language Centre
The English Language Centre (ELC) provides a range of support for all of our international students. Its services are designed to help students to improve in all areas of their English language and academic study skills.
The friendly and experienced ELC team is based within Student Services and are here to guide your learning using a variety of methods, ensuring you have every opportunity to succeed on your course.
- The ELC offers the following areas of English language support for international students:
- A pre-sessional English Language and Academic Study Skills course (PEASS)
- A diagnostic English language assessment and individual learning plan
- In-sessional English for Academic Purposes (EAP) language support throughout the academic year
- Reasonably-priced coach trips to other UK cities
The Students’ Union is be an independent, student-led organisation, working in partnership with the University of Lincoln to ensure that all its members – that’s every University of Lincoln student – is supported, represented, and empowered
The SU is an important part of shaping and developing our students’ academic, social, sporting and working life by providing opportunities, advice, representation and events for all students.
